Google Begins Identification of Unsecured Websites

Google announced in April 2017 that it will begin identifying websites that do not have an SSL certificate as Not Secure. When visitors search for your website in Google Chrome, and your website appears, Google will mark your website as Not Secure.

Websites that have a valid SSL certificate will be labeled https://websiteaddress.com
Websites that are not secure, will appear like this illustration below:

If you are collecting information from patients and you want to inform your current patients and your new patients that your website is safe, your dental website should have an SSL certificate.
